Tim Cannady attended Auburn University where he graduated with a degree in Political Science focusing in International Relations. At Auburn Tim was involved with the intramural program working as a referee and staff member, as well as an avid outdoors-man and hunter. After college Tim attended law school in North Carolina. During law school Tim gained valuable legal experience working for University of North Carolina at Charlotte as well as a local criminal defense firm. He began his practice in Union County, by opening his own law firm. Later he moved to Cabarrus County where he practiced criminal law for several years.
Tim is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar, Cabarrus County Bar, North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and the North Carolina Bar.
