Detailed Information

Prior to attending law school, Lindsey was a family law paralegal for 10 years and criminal defense paralegal for four years. She began practicing law as an attorney in 2018.

As babies, Lindsey and her brother were both adopted, which was the driving force in Lindsey’s interest in family law. From her first day in law school, she knew she wanted to become a family law attorney. She remained steadfast throughout her law school studies while also maintaining full-time employment as a paralegal. In addition, she held the position of President of the Veteran Law Students Association and served on the Judicial Board.

Lindsey has a passion for protecting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. In her last year of law school, she interned for Denton County Friends of the Family and assisted with litigation related to victims of violence.

She is very detail oriented,  taking the time to understand the client’s specific situation and to work toward the best possible outcome, whenever possible resolving issues without resorting to litigation.

The adversarial nature of litigation typically increases stress and duress on families, making co-parenting after divorce even more challenging. However, in some instances, litigation becomes necessary. In such cases, Lindsey has the competence and skills to advocate fervently on behalf of her clients.

Lindsey is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Denton Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

When not working, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband and two stepsons. She also enjoys a variety of activities, ranging from beach vacations to sitting in a deer blind. In addition, she proudly supports our first responders and veterans.
