Jordan’s practice includes the representation of clients across a number of industries, including insurance companies, brokerage firms, and construction companies. Jordan has significant experience advising clients in many aspects of litigation, including case strategy and analysis, written discovery, pleading and motion drafting, management of large-scale discovery projects, and arguing motions. Prior to joining DRHR in 2015, Jordan summered with Manela Law Firm in Houston, Texas, and the General Counsel’s Office of the American Petroleum Institute in Washington, D.C. Jordan also has his Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri.
- Represented major national brokerage firms, defending against claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, negligent supervision, fraud, violations of the Texas Securities Act, violations of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934
- Represented major national engineering firm, defending against claims for breach of contract, negligence, and fraud
- Represented major national insurance company in the appellate process, including successful mandamus and appeal opinions.
- Represented major national insurance companies regarding coverage disputes, defending against claims for breach of contract, violations of the Texas Insurance Code, and Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
