Dennis Sullivan is a shareholder with Stepp & Sullivan, P.C. in Houston. His trial practice has an emphasis in civil litigation in All things Family. He represents spouses in divorce actions, seeking to protect themselves from unreasonable asset and property distributions, unreasonable child custody requests, and those seeking to protect their assets to the fullest extent. Dennis is a proficient trial lawyer, and in addition to representing parties in family matters, represents individuals injured by the negligence of others, including catastrophic injuries. Dennis has litigated or tried cases in all four federal districts of Texas, as well as federal and state courts in Texas, California, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, California, Florida, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Illinois. Dennis is a member of the Texas Bar Association and is licensed to practice before Texas State Courts, as well as Federal Courts in the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his BBA in finance in 1988 from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. He also attended St. Mary’s University Law School where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1991. In 1991 through 1992, he was the briefing attorney for the Honorable Charles Bliel, Sixth Court of Appeals, Texas.
