Mr. Vahedy received his Juris Doctor from University of San Diego School of Law, with a concentration in Criminal Litigation. During his law school tenure, Mr. Vahedy was a member of the prestigious Moot Court Executive Board and competed in two national competitions, including arguing before the Ninth Circuit, and receiving First Place Brief and Honorable Mention Oralist awards along the way. He also received Top Honors in Trial Advocacy. Mr. Vahedy also interned at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, DNA Unit, where he assisted in furthering court recognition of RapidHIT technology as a means of generating admissible DNA evidence in criminal proceedings.
Mr. Vahedy’s primary practice areas focus on Personal Injury Law, Premises Liability, Product Liability, and General Civil Litigation. During his first year as an attorney, he appeared on behalf of his clients in over thirty hearings/motions, and has taken and defended over sixty depositions. He has successfully mediated matters on behalf of The Duracell Company, State Farm Insurance, and Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance.
Additionally, Mr. Vahedy is a member of the Iranian American Bar Association and Orange County Bar Association, wherein he maintains his professional and social networks within the legal community.
On his free time, Mr. Vahedy enjoys watching and playing soccer, cooking, and organizing youth empowerment projects.
