Since co-founding Sandoval & James in 2016, Ben has established himself as a relentless force in the courtroom. He has spent over a decade leading litigation departments, trying cases, and recovering millions of dollars for clients whose lives were upended by negligence. His reputation as a “fearless” advocate is backed by an extensive history of first-chairing jury trials across the state, from Travis and Dallas to Tarrant, Smith, Collin, and Nueces Counties. Admitted to practice in every federal district court in Texas, Ben’s high-stakes results have earned him membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and consistent recognition from the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys.
Beyond his technical skill in the courtroom, Ben’s ability to connect with a diverse clientele is one of his greatest assets. Ben is fluent in the Bulgarian language, allowing him to communicate well with not just the Bulgarian community, but with the Serbian and Macedonian communities as well.
When he isn’t navigating complex litigation, Ben applies his strategic mind to the chessboard. An avid player, he draws a direct parallel between the hard work and creativity required in chess and the strategy needed to win a trial. He takes particular pride in his record against the legendary chess hustlers of New York City’s Washington Square Park, though he is currently plotting his next move to finally defeat the famous “Cornbread.”
